This track came about while VAAGUE had a technical problem during a very late night show in Amsterdam. He was playing the beat and the bass line just emerged from an overload of two samples layering on top of each other. He saw the audience in front of him dancing on this jam: a song was born! After hearing the recording of the concert, it immediately made him think of Stuart McCallum (cf. Richard Spaven trio, Cinematic Orchestra), whom he just had work with a few months ago: he definitely could hear his dreamy guitar sound on top of this fierce groove. « Amsterdamn » is the first collaboration of this album.
